Mining and resource gathering

Nothing marches, builds or trades without raw materials. Ironhold Empire runs on five resources — Wood, Stone, Iron, Food and Gold — and every one of them is worth fighting over.

Five resources, five economies

Sawmills cut Wood for construction, quarries break Stone for walls, mines pull Iron for weapons, farms grow the Food that keeps your army fed, and your keep mints Gold every day. Neglect Food and your troops start deserting; hoard Iron and raiders come knocking.

Passive production plus active gathering

Production ticks whether you are online or not, capped by your warehouses. On top of that, send marches on scavenging runs and solo expeditions, clear bandit camps, or heist caravans for bursts of resources, crafting materials and energy draughts.

Boosts, upkeep and storage

Production boost items, research, Academy courses and weekly faction titles all lift your output. Warehouse levels raise both your cap and the share of goods raiders cannot touch, and the Merchant Bank and Hidden Vault keep Gold safe over the long haul.

Turn surplus into power

Sell overflow on the pooled market where every seller's stock is combined by resource, list rare items at the Royal Auction House, or trade materials on the Bazaar. Market building levels cut the sales fee from 5% down to 1%, and trading income counts toward its own leaderboard and title.

Frequently asked

Do resources keep accumulating when I log off?
Yes. Mines, quarries, sawmills and farms produce continuously up to your warehouse cap, so checking in once or twice a day is enough.
What is Gold used for?
Gold pays wages, wagers, bank deposits, investments, loans and market purchases. It generates from your keep every day and grows with your buildings.
How do I get crafting materials?
Blacksteel ingots, cured leather, hardwood and gemstones drop from scavenging, bandit camps and the World Boss, and trade freely on the Bazaar and auction house.
