Investments
- Stake Gold in another commander's keep. As their rank rises, you earn a small dividend cut.
- Dividends accrue passively — no upkeep required.
- You can hold multiple investments in different keeps at once.
- Investments are visible to the target — good keeps attract more capital.
Loans
- Take out a Gold loan at a fixed interest rate; interest accrues over time.
- Repay any time from your treasury; the loan closes when the principal + interest hits zero.
- Loan shield: while a loan is active, raiders cannot steal Gold below your outstanding principal.
Merchant Bank (Fixed-Term Deposits)
- 1 month — 0.05% per day
- 3 months — 0.10% per day
- 6 months — 0.20% per day
- 12 months — 0.30% per day
Deposits lock the principal for the full term. On maturity, principal + accrued interest is available to claim. Locked Gold cannot be stolen.
Net-Worth Leaderboard
Your net-worth score is liquid wealth only: Gold on hand + active investments + bank balance (principal + accrued) − outstanding loans. Buildings, troops, and other resources are excluded so the ranking reflects real economic power rather than paper strength.
