Ironhold runs on one worldwide server, so every commander you see is a real rival, customer or ally. Chat, the inbox and player profiles are how deals get made and wars get started.
Chat
Global chat — the whole realm, for trades, recruitment and trash talk.
Faction chat — private to your house (Red, Blue, Green or Purple) for coordinating fortress and monument pushes.
Chat is docked so it stays available while you build, train and march.
Every name in chat is clickable and opens that commander's profile.
Chat is moderated; abuse and scam attempts can be actioned by the admin team.
Player Profiles
Names are clickable everywhere — chat, leaderboards, the Realm Roster, world map, battle reports and fortress events.
A profile shows keep name, rank and Renown, faction, honor, titles, VIP standing and alliance.
From the profile you can attack, scout, message, trade or place a bounty.
Keeps with no activity yet are hidden from the world map and roster so abandoned sign-ups don't clutter the realm.
Inbox (Direct Messages)
Threaded one-to-one conversations with any commander in the realm.
Unread counts show on the Inbox tab; new messages raise a notification.
Used for direct resource deals, alliance invites, ransom negotiation and non-aggression pacts.
Reports
Every battle, scout, scavenge, heist and settlement writes a report with a visual breakdown of losses and loot.
Defenders always receive a full report of what hit them.
Realm-wide announcements — such as the World Fortress changing hands — are delivered as reports to everyone.
